We are committed to social responsibility and to treating our employees and suppliers with respect and fairness by firmly anchoring the principles and guidelines of the ETI Base Code in our value system and demanding that our business partners also implement them.

The Ethical Trading Initiative – ‘ETI’ – is an alliance of companies, trade unions and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that campaigns for respect for workers' rights worldwide and against exploitation in the production of consumer goods. 

The ETI Base Code covers issues such as the free choice of employment, safe and hygienic working conditions, the exclusion of child labour and the payment of a living wage. It is based on the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and is applicable to all types of companies worldwide. It is internationally recognised and serves as the basis for other initiatives and codes that build on it.
